Chrysalis Records / Blue Raincoat Music are looking for a full-time Streaming Assistant to join our UK Marketing Team. This is a role suitable for a candidate looking to take their next step in the industry.
Based in our London office the role will report to the Director of Streaming. You will help us grow the streaming audience for our frontline artists, such as Gia Ford and BODEGA, and legendary acts like The Specials and Sinéad O’Connor.
The successful candidate will be creative, proactive and results orientated. You will be able to handle a diverse range of tasks in a fast-paced environment. Most importantly, you will love music and be comfortable curating, writing about and marketing songs and albums from across a range of genres and time periods.
Blue Raincoat Music, which is part of the Reservoir group of companies, is a record label – Chrysalis Records – a music publishing company, and an artist management group with offices in London, New York, Nashville, and Los Angeles. The company was founded in 2014 by Jeremy Lascelles and Robin Millar.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop streaming strategies for frontline and catalogue releases.
- Generate creative ideas for marketing partnerships with DSP partners.
- Pitch new releases and catalogue moments to partners.
- Create presentations and write pitch information.
- Provide analysis and reporting on streaming performance.
- Manage DSP advertising.
- Assist with the growth of catalogue revenues, working with our Operations Team and third parties on asset delivery and copyright management.
- Manage the optimisation of frontline and catalogue artist channels.
- Oversee the Chrysalis Records brand across DSPs – managing playlisting and curation.
- Manage our relationships with social music influencers and curators.
- Carry out competitor research and keep abreast of new tools, platforms, opportunities, and initiatives.
- Create best practice guidelines and processes.
Skills & Experience
- A love of music
- A passion for digital technology and strong interest in the music streaming landscape
- Experience working with and analysing third party data. Able to use spreadsheets to manage and interpret data.
- An interest in emerging social and technology trends
- Experience using tools such as Chartmetric, Spotify For Artists, Apple Music For Artists and distribution platforms.
- Experience of digital advertising a plus
- Experience working with artists, managers, and social agencies a plus.
- Strong organisation, presentation, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar platforms
This role is based at our London office in Shoreditch EC2, close to public transport.
Hybrid working, 3 days in the office.
