Brand Marketing Manager
Salary: £50,000-£60,000 depending on experience

Spitfire Audio is looking for a creative and experienced Brand Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. This role is instrumental in shaping and elevating the Spitfire Audio brand globally, ensuring its continued growth, relevance, and perception within the highly specialised and passionate community of music creators. You will develop and execute innovative brand strategies, oversee compelling content creation, and foster a vibrant community, ensuring our messaging resonates deeply with our audience. Both a creative and data-driven role, you need to be as comfortable discussing the nuances of a new string library as you are with KPIs, analysing campaign metrics or brainstorming a new community initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy:
- Help develop, implement, and refine comprehensive brand strategies that align with the company’s vision and business goals, ensuring the brand resonates with our target audience of composers, music producers, and musicians, reflecting Spitfire Audio’s premium quality music production tools.
- Define and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials, communications, and product presentation.
- Continuously monitor and analyse brand perception, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
Campaign Management:
- Conceptualise, plan, and oversee the execution of innovative brand marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social, email, content, PR, events) that build brand awareness and complement the existing product marketing and sales campaigns
- Experienced working with design teams to brief, refine and deliver compelling brand campaign assets
- Manage marketing budgets effectively and maximise return on investment.
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility and attract relevant, high-intent traffic to the Spitfire Audio website.
- Conceive and manage innovative marketing campaigns for our extensive back catalogue and evergreen product lines
Content & Community Engagement:
- Oversee the strategy, creation, and delivery of compelling editorial and educational content that showcases the value, application, and creative potential of our virtual instruments.
- Develop initiatives to foster and nurture a strong online community around the brand, engaging authentically with users, artists, and influencers, ensuring community interaction remains a core pillar of our social presence.
- Implement strategies to leverage user-generated content and influencer marketing
- Work alongside our Head of Partnerships to provide marketing support in identifying, cultivating, and managing strategic partnerships
Analysis & Research:
- Monitor, analyse, and report on the performance of brand marketing initiatives, leveraging data and insights to inform future strategies, optimise campaigns, and demonstrate ROI. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management.
- Work with our data team to conduct market research to understand our customer needs, preferences, and behaviours within the music technology and virtual instrument space, which can inform our brand marketing strategy.
Who You Are:
- A seasoned marketing professional with several years of demonstrable experience in marketing or brand management, ideally within the music technology, music, software, creative industries or luxury goods.
- Possessing a deep passion for music and music technology, with a genuine understanding of and enthusiasm for music creation, virtual instruments, DAWs, and the needs of composers and producers.
- A strategic and creative thinker, with a proven ability to develop innovative and effective marketing strategies and campaigns that stand out in a niche market.
- An excellent communicator and storyteller, able to craft compelling narratives and articulate brand messages clearly and persuasively across various mediums.
- Proficient in digital marketing, with a strong understanding of digital channels, including SEO, social media marketing, email marketing, content marketing, and online advertising.
- Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimise marketing performance.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- A collaborative team player, proven to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong internal and external relationships.
- Knowledgeable about the creator economy, understanding how creators, influencers, and online communities operate and how to engage them authentically.
- Adaptable and proactive, able to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment and proactively identify new marketing opportunities.
