THE JOB
The Social Media Manager will own everyday social strategy, content creation and community building for a selection of projects on our roster of artists. From ideating concepts and filming crisp iPhone footage (and the occasional VHS clip), to editing vertical videos and scheduling them for each platform, you’ll be responsible for helping artists curate their social media feeds to connect with fans and build awareness.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, shoot and edit native‑first content for TikTok, Instagram (feed, Reels & Stories), YouTube Shorts, Snapchat Spotlight and X, tailoring every post to each platform’s best practices.
- Capture high‑quality footage on an iPhone; confidently experiment with additional formats (e.g., VHS / MiniDV) when the creative calls for it.
- Edit short‑form and mid‑form video in Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut, adding captions, motion graphics and trending sounds where needed.
- Develop channel‑specific calendars, write engaging copy and schedule posts, ensuring a consistent brand voice across all socials.
- Track performance with each platform’s analytics, summarising insights and recommending tweaks to improve reach, watch‑time and engagement.
- Proactively pitch ideas and social trends to artists, managers and in‑house teams, turning larger campaign goals into daily/weekly content beats.
- Act as the main point of contact for artists and their teams, building trusted relationships and translating their creative vision into social output.
- Collaborate with digital ads and creative teams to deliver cohesive, data‑informed campaigns.
- Stay ahead of algorithm changes, feature roll‑outs and emerging platforms.
THE PERSON
You’ll bring—and be ready to demonstrate—the following:
- 3+ years of hands-on social media management experience within music, artist, label or entertainment environments.
- A proven track record of growing engaged audiences (ideally from scratch) on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Snapchat and X.
- Strong filming skills: steady handheld/iPhone work, understanding of framing, lighting and basic audio; bonus points for analogue nostalgia (VHS).
- Advanced short‑form editing skills in Premiere Pro and CapCut—fast cuts, subtitles, motion titles, transitions and sound syncs are second nature.
- Platform‑savvy storyteller who speaks the native language of each feed, knows current meme culture and can spot a trend before it peaks.
- Confident communicator able to brief, guide and reassure artists, managers and partners, turning feedback into clear next steps.
- Highly organised: juggle multiple campaigns, keep meticulous content libraries and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Data‑curious: comfortable interpreting analytics dashboards, A/B testing hooks and iterating content in response to metrics.
- Passionate about music and artist development, with an authentic desire to champion diverse voices and scenes.
- Self‑starter with a positive, collaborative mind‑set – you love learning, welcome constructive feedback and radiate creative energy.

- Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum (DOE)
